My Desk Setup!

Hi Everyone! Welcome back to my blog. It’s been a while and I’m happy to announce that from now on this is going to be a weekly blog with at least one post per week. School’s starting soon too so I might be busy but I’ll make sure to stay committed.

There’s going to be posts mainly focused on Swift UI and the new apple platforms (iOS 13, iPadOS, macOS 10.15). As time goes on there will be lots of new and fresh coding related content too.

This week I wanted to switch it up a bit before all of the coding stuff and talk about my new and simple desk setup. I put this together for both coding and studying/homework related stuff. So without any further ado let’s get started!

What is in the setup?

About each item in the setup

Laptop

I still have a Macbook Pro 2013 and it fulfils my needs pretty well from development to homework (writing essays) and lots of other things. And to my surprise it can run the upcoming macOS version 10.15 Catalina. I will hopefull upgrade soon though!

Monitor

This is an older budget monitor which is an IPS panel and supports 1080p 60hz. It works for me and isn’t too bad for gaming.

Acessories

I love the Apple made accessories so I prefer to use them at most times. I have an additional wireless mouse for gaming and backup use. I use airpods for most audio (listening to music). The desk lamp is simple and useful in the evening. I use a slower wireless charging pad for my iPhone XR.

Conclusion

Thanks for reading this post! Hope this gave you some inspiration for your own. Be sure to share this with your friends and family. More posts coming every week.

:)
